Classroom Environmental Education Activities (English)
The Paryavaran Mitra programme calls for the active engagement of students through both the class activities and action projects. An activity involving all the students even if it is done in the playground or a field trip or visit is a class activity. Here are some curricular class activities that can be effectively used to teach the text book lessons. The activity is not an end in itself, it is the starting point for making a number of linkages, encouraging students to reflect, and also lead them to apply the learnings to their own context.
